Warehouse rack
servicing
Repairs, intervention inspections and 24/7 emergency service for all types of racking and storage systems — our own crew, guaranteed response times and digital documentation of every job.
Delayed servicing costs more than the breakdown
A damaged rack doesn’t stop working — it keeps bearing loads until it’s too late. Every hour’s delay in repair increases the risk to your staff, stock and operational continuity.
A damaged upright = immediate danger
A deformed or cracked rack upright loses load-bearing capacity in ways invisible to the naked eye. Without prompt intervention, this risks a section collapsing under a full pallet load.
Legal liability for the operator
Employers are responsible for the technical condition of warehouse equipment. Operating a damaged installation without repair is a breach of H&S regulations and grounds for legal liability.
Downtime costs more than the service
Taking a warehouse zone out of service, reorganising product flow and delivery delays generate costs many times higher than the price of an immediate repair.
Minor fault → major failure
A dented beam connector, loose foot plate or missing beam lock are faults that, within weeks, turn into a costly replacement of entire sections — if an accident doesn’t happen first.
No repair record = no proof
A repair without a written protocol doesn’t exist in the eyes of an H&S inspection or insurer. A verbal account from a technician is no substitute for a digital report with a date, scope and signature.
How does a service request work?
From reporting a breakdown to closing the job with a report — every step has a deadline and a digital trail in the Hustro system.
Request and quote
We accept requests by phone and email around the clock. Within 2 hours we confirm receipt — and for critical failures (damaged upright, structural stability risk) we dispatch a technician immediately.
Confirmation within 2h; immediate dispatch for critical failuresOn-site diagnosis and repair
The technician arrives with a full set of spare parts for the most common failures. They diagnose the fault, replace components or make the installation safe, and set a repair schedule if parts need to be ordered.
Within 48h of request (subscription) / agreed date (one-off)Report and job closure in Hustro
Once the repair is complete, we issue a protocol describing the fault, work carried out and parts used. The job is logged in Hustro — from that point it becomes part of the installation’s history and is visible at the next inspection.
Digital report on the day the repair is completed
What do we service?
We service all types of racking and storage systems — from simple shelving to advanced stacker cranes and automated systems.
Pallet and shelving racking
Repair and replacement of uprights, connectors, beams, anchor feet and guards. We restore full load capacity in line with the manufacturer’s documentation.
Vertical lift and carousel systems
Mechanical and electronic servicing of vertical and horizontal goods-flow systems — diagnosis, adjustment and component replacement.
Stacker cranes and SILO / MINILOAD
Servicing of rails, masts, grippers and control systems. Requires SILO certification — our team holds it.
Warehouse lifts
Diagnostics and repair of goods lifts, loading platforms and scissor lifts — in compliance with UDT requirements.
Conveyors and transport systems
Servicing of roller, belt and chain conveyors — adjustment, wear part replacement, drive system lubrication.
Accessories and guards
Replacement of upright protectors, rack-end guards, safety nets and zone markings — components critical to warehouse safety.
A service team that knows your warehouse
We don’t send a random technician with a generic toolkit. We know the installations we’ve built and inspected — which shortens diagnosis time and eliminates errors that come from working without context.
Fast response as standard
24/7 emergency service, confirmation within 2 hours, immediate dispatch for critical failures. On subscription — guaranteed on-site response within 48h.
Specialists in specific systems
We service stacker cranes, lifts and SILO systems — this requires certifications and experience that most general service firms don’t have. Our team has those qualifications.
Every repair logged in Hustro
A protocol from every job goes into the Hustro system — with date, scope of work, parts used and the technician’s signature. You have the full installation history in one place.
Servicing and inspection in one contract
We combine repair servicing with regular PN-EN 15635 inspections — one company knows the full history of your installation and responds faster because it never has to start from scratch.

Common questions about servicing
Take the entire zone out of use and call us immediately — we operate 24/7. A damaged upright or beam can lose load-bearing capacity with no visible external signs, so it’s critical to secure the area and get a technician on-site as quickly as possible. Do not move or unload the rack yourself without a specialist assessment.
For subscription clients we guarantee on-site response within 48 hours of the request. For critical failures — damaged upright, structural stability risk — we dispatch a technician out of turn, regardless of the time of day. Clients without a contract are handled subject to team availability, typically within 2–5 working days.
Yes. We service racking from all major manufacturers — Mecalux, Jungheinrich, Dexion, Constructor, SSI Schäfer and others. Where components are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, we advise you of this before the repair and outline the correct procedure to follow.
Usually not. We aim to limit the shutdown to a specific section or aisle. Most repairs are carried out in a way that allows other zones to continue operating. For extensive damage or full section replacements, we agree a schedule with the client to minimise the impact on operations.
The protocol includes: date and time of the intervention, description of the fault found, scope of work carried out, list of spare parts used with catalogue numbers, condition of the installation after repair, and the technician’s signature. The document is archived in the Hustro system and accessible to the client at any time.
Yes. We hold SILO certification and have experience servicing stacker cranes, rails, masts and control systems. This is a specialist field — if you’re unsure about your current service provider’s competence, ask to see the documents confirming their certifications.
