What does an inspection involve?
Three stages — from booking the visit to a digital report available in your client panel.
Site survey and inventory
The technician documents the warehouse layout, rack and installation types, stacker crane serial numbers, and the current load configuration. This forms the basis for a thorough assessment.

Carousel and vertical lift systems
Assessment of drive mechanisms, guide tracks, safety sensors and load-bearing components.
Guards and protective equipment
Verification of upright protectors, rack-end guards, safety nets and warehouse zone markings.
Floor and anchoring
Assessment of the industrial floor condition in racking zones — cracks, voids and deformations affecting structural stability.
Labelling and documentation
Checking that load capacity labels, load distribution diagrams and previous inspection records are current.

How often should rack inspections be carried out?
PN-EN 15635 requires at least one formal inspection per year by a qualified inspector. For warehouses with heavy use (forklift traffic, seasonal peaks), we recommend inspections every 6 months. Daily visual checks should be carried out by a designated member of staff.
Does the inspection cover stacker cranes and SILO systems?
Yes. Our team holds special certifications for servicing and inspecting high-bay storage systems — stacker cranes, vertical lift systems and SILO infrastructure. This sets us apart from companies that only inspect standard pallet racking.
How long does a visit take, and when will I receive the report?
Visit duration depends on warehouse size — a typical facility of 1,000–3,000 m² takes 2–4 hours. The inspection report with photos and damage classification is delivered within 48 hours of the visit, directly to the Hustro panel and to the client’s email address.
What is RAL damage classification?
It’s a three-tier assessment system in line with PN-EN 15635: green — good condition, no restrictions on use; amber — damage requires monitoring or planned repair; red — component taken out of service immediately. Every colour-coded defect appears in the report with a photo and location.
Does Nevel also carry out repairs for defects found?
Yes — we offer an Inspection + Repair package where the same team performs the diagnosis and carries out the repair. Spare parts delivery is included in the service price. One contractor, one quote, no passing the buck.
Is the report accepted by the UDT and H&S inspections?
Our inspection report meets the documentation requirements of PN-EN 15635 and is accepted as proof of due diligence during UDT inspections and H&S audits. The report includes the inspector’s details, inspection date, methodology and results for each component.
